Kathleen Fox, DVM
Dr. Kathleen Fox was born and raised in Quebec City. She received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Montreal in 1995. She also has a bachelor’s degree in physical activity and a minor in psychology. After graduation, she pursued post-graduate studies and did a 13-month internship at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital.
Dr. Fox went into private practice for one year prior to joining Dedham Veterinary Associates in September 1997, and joined Buzzards Bay Veterinary Associates in April 2007.

Haley Knowlton, DVM
Dr. Knowlton is originally from Gloucester, MA where she lived until the age of 10. Her family then moved overseas living in Switzerland, The Netherlands and France where she attended international schools. Having spent a lot of time in the Bahamas, Dr. Knowlton knew she wanted to complete her Undergraduate and Graduate studies somewhere tropical. She graduated from St. George’s University in 2010, which is located on the beautiful spice island of Grenada. She then continued on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2014 after completing her final year of clinical training at Louisiana State University. After graduating, Dr. Knowlton worked at a mixed-animal private practice on the island of Martha’s Vinyard prior to joining Buzzards Bay Veterinary Associates in May, 2015.

Dana Anholzer, DVM
Meet our newest veterinarian, Dr. Anholzer! She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal and Veterinary Science from Clemson University in 2009 and went on to complete her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in 2013. Following graduation, Dr. Anholzer worked at a small animal practice on the South Shore of Massachusetts. When she’s not working, Dr. Anholzer enjoys traveling, video games, camping, and spending time with her cat, Piper, and her dog, Ramona.

Hospital Manager/Veterinary Technician
Geri is a veterinary technician who joined us with four years of previous experience in the animal field. She is dedicated to helping animals and their owners providing them with the best care and service possible. Geri is a graduate from the University of Massachusetts, Boston with a BA in Environmental Science. In her free time, Geri loves to cook, garden, and spend time with her three children, dog Oscar and two cats Milo and Lucky.
Jocelyn joined our team as a Technician Assistant in 2012 after working for more than four years in the animal field. Jocelyn was born and raised in Wareham, and still lives there with her husband and dogs. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, yoga, playing music and spending time with family. She is thrilled to have a job that enables her to continue her passion for animals.
Kellie is a Certified Veterinary Technician who joined our team in April 2015. She graduated from Mt. Ida College with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2014 while working at a veterinary practice in Dartmouth for the past three years. She has an Akita named Drift, A Shiba Inu named Nala and 5 cats (Mrs. Norris, Stu, Hagrid, Chance and Mrtyle). Her hobbies include freshwater fishing, walking through the woods, breeding ball pythons and tending to her salt water aquarium.
Client Care Associate
Micaela joins our team with 2 years of client care associate experience. She is a longtime resident of Wareham. In her spare time she loves spending it with her family, friends and dog Ollie.
Melissa is a technician assistant who has been with the BBVA team since 2017. She comes to us with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Conservation Biology and Ecology from Boston University and while she earning her degree, she worked with Capuchin monkeys who were being trained as service animals. Melissa is especially interested in small animal and exotics medicine. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her family and friends, bird watching, and trying new foods! At home, she has two cats: George and Moe, and two guinea pigs: Dunks and Pats.
