Kathleen Fox, DVM
Dr. Kathleen Fox was born and raised in Quebec City. She received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Montreal in 1995. She also has a bachelor’s degree in physical activity and a minor in psychology. After graduation, she pursued post-graduate studies and did a 13-month internship at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital.
Dr. Fox went into private practice for one year prior to joining Dedham Veterinary Associates in September 1997, and joined Buzzards Bay Veterinary Associates in April 2007.

Dana Anholzer, DVM
Meet Dr. Anholzer! She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal and Veterinary Science from Clemson University in 2009 and went on to complete her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in 2013. Following graduation, Dr. Anholzer worked at a small animal practice on the South Shore of Massachusetts. When she’s not working, Dr. Anholzer enjoys traveling, video games, camping, and spending time with her cat, Piper, and her dog, Ramona.

CVT/Lead TechnicianKellie joined our team in March of 2015. She graduated from Mount Ida College where she majored in veterinary technology and went on to get her CVT. When not working with us, Kellie enjoys cooking, baking, being outdoors and spending time with her two dogs and five cats!
Veterinary TechnicianMelissa has been with the BBVA team since 2017. She comes to us with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Conservation Biology and Ecology from Boston University and while she earning her degree, she worked with Capuchin monkeys who were being trained as service animals. Melissa is especially interested in small animal medicine and surgery. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her family and friends, bird watching, and trying new foods! At home, she has three cats: George, Moe, and Harvey, and two guinea pigs: Dunks and Pats.
Veterinary TechnicianKatie has been with BBVA since October of 2019, and has been at Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists since 2017. She came to us with four years of veterinary experience from North Carolina. She is currently working on receiving her Associates Degree in Animal Science through Penn Foster so she may become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Her areas of interest are Emergency and Critical Care and surgery. She has two dogs, a Husky mix named Bella and a German Shepherd mix named Sadie. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter hiking, fishing, and travelling.
Veterinary AssistantGabby joined our team in June of 2019 as a veterinary assistant. She is currently attending Becker College for her bachelor’s in Veterinary Technology. When she graduates, she plans to sit for the VTNE to become a certified veterinary technician. When not working with us or studying at school Gabby enjoys spending time with her two boxers!
Client Care AssociateAshley is a client care associate that joined our team in 2018. She has been in the animal care field for over 18 years as a groomer’s assistant, kennel assistant and dog walker. Ashley graduated from UMASS Dartmouth with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. When not at work she enjoys walking her dog on the canal, baking, watching the Patriots and taking long road trips. Ashley lives in Buzzards Bay with her husband Alex and her dog Sammy.
